This movie was my first exposure to The Beatles. Has anyone heard if it's ever coming out on DVD? I'd like to add this movie to my collection, I think the VHS version is out of print.

Backbeat is scheduled for an August 12th DVD release.

Great. I have the LD, and it is a very fine film indeed.
First exposure to the Beatles? Wow, that must have been interesting.
