Heart: comes in a mini lp slipcase, blows away the original version, dont know how it would stand up to the original mushroom lp release.

steve miller band/the joker:JVC XRCD: nice compared to original, thought a bit shrill.

Buster,

Just a quick note to avoid the MFSL of Hearts self titled. It is really bad (smiley face eq. problem BIG TIME).

However if you haven't heard DCC's Dreamboat Annie your really missing out.;)

In terms of sound quality, I consider Dreamboat Annie to be the best DCC disc I have. It never fails to impress.

I'm becoming less and less enamoured with anything MFSL...

Pigmode,

Just curious.

Do have or ever listened to Blind Faith: S/T UD1, Alan Parsons: I Robot or Al Stewart: The Year Of The Cat?

Those 3 in particular never fail to impress as well as SRV: THe Sky Is Crying. ;)

Dave,

I overstated my case a bit, because I felt it was appropriate. Those three are on my newly revised wish list, and I will definitely be dropping you a line before adding to said list. You are the Guru of UD 1. :)

Ommmmm.... Pigmodious Maximus,

The only UD1 of the 4 is Blind Faith. SRV is UD2 and the other 2 are the aluminum series.:D :D

Buster,

That particular one I can't help you with but I have heard it and WOW! Same with Alan Parsonds I'm afraid but those 2 are on the ol' wish list.;)

Oh.

I remember someone posting here that the MoFi Year Of The Cat CD wasn't all that great, but I guess it is then. I got the UK release a few months ago and it's a tad bright. I'm kind of giving up on that one already.

Do you have Agents Of Fortune or Surfing With The Aliens?

Yup sure do Pigmode and they both blow away any other version of those 2 albums that I've heard.

PS. If you don't have SRV, get it!
