Does anyone know what Dynavector is like with their warranty coverage? We've discussed many times here how good Shure is with theirs but I don't recall Dynavector. When playing a Jeff Beck album I noticed that the vocals were terribly distorted so I checked the tracking etc.. which looked OK. But when I looked straight on at the cart I noticed that the cantilever was off to the side so I pulled off the arm and looked sure enough it was crooked!! Of course, being a person of very little brain I tried to straighten it and made it worse. I only got this thing in April and jeez, it cost 525.00. I'm hoping they have a good warranty coverage.:(

email Mike Pranka, the importer of Dynavector products at
pranka@i1.net. I have never had to deal with him, but he is reputed to be very generous in his warranty policy.

Thanks, I've e-mailed him. Also, Peter at Red Trumpet where I bought the
cart.

Don't worry so much about the cantivileer. When it breaks, it plays ugly, and nothing you can do to straighten it will work.
So "making it worse" doesn't really exist. Busted is busted. :D
After this just happened to me too, this is the suckiest thing that can happen. I would rather a tube gas out on me than lose my stylus.
