What are your favorite "sleeper" movies starting major actors? Sleeper movies are those films that no one has heard of and are lost in obscurity on the shelves of your local rental store. Its pretty easy to list sleeper films with minor or unknown actors (think independent film!), but how about those sleepers that boast MAJOR talent ? Robert Duvall in "Tomorrow" 1972 (one of Duvall's favorite roles)
Robert De Niro in "Bang the Drum Slowly" 1973
Dustin Hoffman in "Straight Time" 1978 (if this is the way our parole system really works, its no wonder recidivism is so high in our criminal justice system)
