Hello. I just found a copy of the disc (which I enjoy very much) and have a question concerning the number of tracks selected. While it sports a very generous 24, a few more could have been included (such as the no. 1 hits "Don't" and "Too Much") as the running time is only 61 minutes.

Was the number of tracks dictated by a certain profit margin DCC was going after or were you simply unhappy with the quality of these other masters (if the original masters could be located at all)?

Your time and any information is greatly appreciated.

RCA wanted to give us 20 songs max. We finally were able to get 24, plus the right to create our own new cover art.

You're welcome. I think that this was the last usage of the real & correct RCA-Victor logo in history....:(



And boy, BMG wasn't too happy about it either!
