Beach Boys Razor & Tie/Endless Summer For Steve

Hi Steve, I have the DCC Endless Summer CD, Is there any difference between the Razor & Tie cd? Is the Razor & Tie still in print?

Michael,

The Razor & Tie Beach Boys "Greatest Hits" CD has something like 40 songs on it, including "Little Saint Nick" (correct stereo version). It spans the entire Capitol era (plus "Kokomo", "Sail On Sailor", etc.)

I know it's still available out there. There was a link to it on the old DCC Forum.

"Endless Summer" and the Razor & Tie CD have basically the same mastering moves...

I went searching in the DCC archive that Holy Zoo kindly set up for us here, and I found the link:

This is a great Beach Boys compilation. All from the correct tapes, all analog tube mastering, just like the DCC "Endless Summer".
