I really enjoy Six Feet Under. I think it's brilliant and psychedelic. Does anyone else watch it?

I've been watching it since its HBO debut; I was thrilled to get the Season 1 box set used for next to nothing. Nicely done series, alternately droll and wild. Even better, both my girlfriend and sister took my advice for once and checked it out on my recommendation. They spent a few popcorn nights watching it together. They're big fans now, too.

Season 1 just ended here. I enjoyed it very much, it's my kind of humor. I especially liked the stolen leg episode.

I have watched it from the begining. As a side note I got to see Rachel Griffiths the other day. She is filming a movie with Aiden Quinn here in and around Park City and other locations in Utah. A friend of mine is part of the crew and he took me over to one of the shoots.

Good show, although it took some really strange plot twists this season, even for what it had established the first two years. I wish they would've taken that quirky Arthur guy in a different direction, he was pretty amusing, but the plot line they used reduced him to about one scene a week the past few episodes. And I could've shot the TV, Elvis-style, for making me wait another week on the Lisa deal.

Hi,
Love it... have since the first show! It's my wife's favorite show on TV! I have more than one fav w/ most on HBO: Soprano's, The Wire, Six Feet Under, and West Wing. HBO rules Sunday nite!

Is "SIX FEET UNDER" Finnish for SOPRANOS?
We cancelled our cable reception a year ago and haven't missed it at all. I think we'd all change our lives dramatically if they put the number of hours we spent staring at the box on our tombstones.

And also carve on our tombstones the hours spent in front of PC's surfing the net and landing on boards like these:D .
Hey, as long as you're happy, what the hell...I find, except for some news, I watch very little television beyond the occasional DVD episode or movie here and there. I've got too much to do as it is, but this--and good music through the headphones this time of night--is as relaxing as life has ever been. Won't last forever so I'm enjoying it while it does.
Having said that, I would miss SIX FEET or THE SOPRANOS for anything; nothing wrong with entertainment. Even read a book once in a while to stay in practice:laugh:

not enough rachel griffiths this year.
although the plot between her and her brother could have been very interesting :)

It really is about the best thing on TV these days, next to 'Crank Yankers.'
I missed the last two episodes before Sunday night, when Nate hooked up with the tatoo'd girl.... got some major catching up to do.
It's always strange to hear Rachael Griffiths speak in her native accent, after getting used to her excellent American accent on this show.... she is a hottie.

Great show! It's a Sunday night ritual with me and my Lovely Bride. Soprano's and then Six Feet Under!

Err..No. Sopranos is "Sopranos" in Finland. :D I like that show, too. Six Feet Under is "Mullan Alla" here, BTW. ;)

That number wouldn't fit on a regular tombstone in my case. I hope the Gorts don't have statistics for my time spent here. :o

She's supposed to have done some nude stuff somewhere. I'm not sure which movies or what, but I'd like to find out.

From her bio on Yahoo's All Movie Guide :
Although her career has assumed international proportions, Griffiths has remained involved with the arts and politics of her native country. In addition to her continued work in the Australian theatre and television, she has earned a reputation for her stance in Melbourne politics: in 1997, in protest of the development of a casino in one of Melbourne's neighborhoods, she stood outside of the casino wearing only a loincloth and a banner reading "Need Not Greed," before dropping the banner and baring her chest to a crowd of enthusiastic onlookers and disgruntled policemen.

I missed the most recent season. I cancel my HBO whenever they're not showing new episodes of the Sopranos on a weekly basis.

I received the first series of SFU on DVD as a job farewell present - about the best farewell gift I could have hoped for. My wife and I fell for the show towards the end of the first series when it was shown here in Australia, and there have been no repeats - so we have waited a long time to catch up on the first 10 episodes. In the last couple of weeks we've been overdosing on SFU, and it's been wonderful. The first series was extraordinary.
The second series was similarly amazing. We waited nearly a full year from end of series 2 for the stupid free-to-air network that has the rights to show series 3, and we are only a few episodes into the new series.
The DVD set of series 1 that I was given was bought from the UK, and is PAL - it turned out much cheaper for my dear friends to get the set from Amazon UK than to buy NTSC from Amazon in the US. No complaints about the picture quality, and there are a few nice extras in the set. I think it must be identical in all respects to the US version.
Anyone know when the next season coming up?
