A quirky but good French film. Actress is excellent. Anyone else seen it?

I love this film. Very obscure, but essential for fans of voyeuristic film. I have a vhs dub of this, but it recently came out here in the US on dvd, albeit rather expensive, and not so great a print. Review here:

Ah, that's too bad. I might still seek out this not-so-great DVD edition, just because of the fond memories it brings back for me.

I saw this with my former art teacher - we ended up becoming friends after I took her class in 7th grade (she remains a good family friend to this day - 26 years later!).

She used to take me to art galleries, museums, etc. Once though, she took me to what might have been the first non-American movie I ever watched that had subtitles. It certainly had to be the first I'd seen like that in a movie theater!

She helped open up a new world of cinema to me with that simple gesture.
