Happened across this web site tonight. It's truly a treasure. I figured some of you gents might enjoy the photographs. There is nothing like an authentic black and white photograph taken from the good old days - an epoch in which, sadly, I could never take part. Call it nostalgia for a period I never experienced. Still, somehow, with pictures like these, I can imagine for just one moment...

One of the great photographers. Any Leonard fan should see "Saving Jazz", a recent documentary on him, mainly dealing with how he dealt with the repercussions of Hurricane Katrina. He had lived in New Orleans for awhile, and the hurricane destroyed a good chunk of his work. But luckily, he still had the negatives to everything. Despite having his home destroyed, the man has an amazingly optimistic attitude, and is still going strong in his mid-80s.

Beautiful pictures. Lots of cigarette smoke though. Don't think I could've been there for the real thing.
