Did anyone get that Superfriends DVD that came out a few weeks ago?

I didnt pick it up, but dont be embarassed if you did. Is it any good? I cant imagine that DVD would do anything for it, but I was disapointed at the number of shows on the disc. It's probably something I would watch once and laugh.

I picked that up. The animation can't really be cleaned up much, as it was pretty chintzy to begin with. The episodes don't really hold up well, story-wise, but it's nice for nostalgia value - reminds me of Saturday mornings as a kid. Plus some of the stuff is so cheesy it's hilarious - like Green Lantern catching someone in a big green baseball glove.

It would've been nice, though, to have some better supplements, like commentary tracks. They have a guy who introduces episodes, but it's pretty short.
