I just picked up the UK Nirvana "Traveling on a Cloud" best of (sadly, I don't like it terribly much). However, the sound is processed using something called "Bedini Audio Spacial Environment," and in headphones the music sounds *very* strange. What exactly *is* this process?

Some interesting stuff.

But to be honest, it's just another process that takes the sound further away from the real sound. Looks like listening on headphones would ruin the sound of a phony 3D enviornmental sound matrix process. Hope you own a stock copy of NeverMind and Bleech. In fact, an original SubPop Bleech on vinyl or CD may not sound "amazing", but that's how the group sounded in the Seattle underground days.

Scott, I don't think David is talking about *that* Nirvana. ;)

Ooops, yes, why would you want to put all kinds of weirdness on simple hard rock like Nirvana? I think there was even a 60's psych group called Nirvana...

Oh well!!
