:righton: I've been excited for this one since I first saw a trailer over a year ago. (why does Pixar make us wait so long!!!)
Our local theaters bought a new digital projector this year, it's gonna look incredible on that thing.

Pixar is the only corporate entity in Hollywood that is able to consistently make imaginative, coherent, reasonably intelligent and commercially successful entertainment. They should be running the entire industry.

I'm going! We were at Disney/Hollywood Studios in April and they had a lot of the movie stills, previews, etc and it looks very good. Pixar puts out consistently good - and even great - films.

It BETTER NOT be a tear-jerker!
I can just see that little ET/ Number 5 hybred getting all sad over ...... SOMETHING.
UGH!
I'm not gonna lie to you; when that song came on during "Toy Story 2" and Jessie said, "Just go."
God, I'm getting teary just THINKING about IT!

This looks like it could be Pixar's best film yet (even topping Toy Story 2).

Nearly true, but just like a Steve Hoffman mastering, I think that projects this good, SHOULD, make others work harder at their craft, but we all know, that that isn't going to happen. As long as the "suits" are in charge, instead of people who love and understand music and/or movie making, I'm afraid it will always be "PIXAR" is better. However, let's be real here, "PIXAR" is now owned by the "suits", so it's only a matter of time for them too...

They've been owned by Disney for a while and it doesn't seem to have changed anything...

Nothing has changed yet.... Check back in 15 years after all the old blood is gone. sigh.

Erm; make that "pleasure". Oops...
Be sure to stay for the credits, which promise to be as clever as those in previous Pixar films... and are backed with a new original song by Thomas Newman and Peter Gabriel (featuring the Soweto Choir), 'Down to Earth.'

POSSIBLE SPOILERS (scroll down to see):
There are no 'outtakes' or 'bloopers' in the credits, as in precious Pixar films.
The B&L logo is displayed at the end as one of the production companies. :)

According to the NY Times it cost $180M to make WALL-E. So it will need a big opening weekend.
Supposed to be a hot one up here in the Northeast, so I would imagine a few people will need air-conditioning.

Looks a little geeky to me, Im not very excited about it.
I think I'd rather see Kung Fu Panda again
To be perfectly honest, I'm a lock for all future Pixar films.

You can't go wrong with PIXAR, they haven't made a bad one yet. My favorite is "Finding Nemo".
