Terrence Malick's TREE OF LIFE

and the Tom Hanks follow-up to Band of Brothers titled PACIFIC

Yikes. I haven't even thought about 2009 movies yet. All I can say is I hope they are better than the worst that 2008 has produced so far and as good as the best.
