View Full Version : TimeLife "Flower Power" CD's seem alright - but what I really want is those VIDEOS

Surfing late night TV tonight, the infomercial with Peter Fonda hyping the Flower Power CD's aired and though I have to cringe at the CD cover art and pasty older overweight reminiscences, I the couldn't click away because the old original videos were so great!

Lemon Pipers
Airplane
Guess Who
Elton John
Carly SImon
Zager and Evans
Scott McKenzie
Mamas and Papas
Tommy James & the Shondells
Zombies
Turtles
Hollies
Steppenwolf
Music Explosion
Butterfield Blues Band
Brewer and Shipley
Beau Brummels
Sly and the Family Stone
Van Morrison

I have little need for these CD's, having most all this stuff on LP or CD already, but the videos in the infomercial are a blast and I would give anything to add THEM to my collection, and see them in their entirety. Are any video compilations with titles like this available? I'd buy them in a New York minute.

I feel that way about all those T-L infomercial clips... Because of rights issues, I imagine we'll never see a collection of them at full-length, though.

Because of rights issues, I imagine we'll never see a collection of them at full-length, though. You're probally right, but alot of stuff has come out on DVD that I thought we'd never see legit.....--check out the comps on Jefferson Airplane/Mamas & Papas/the Motown ones/The Jam one that has EVERY TV appearence & promo clip they ever did/the Midnight Special comps(rather see complete episodes...) etc.--they're all under $20 too!:righton:
