Hi, this is my first post here.

I've been a frequent lurker to this forum, and I have grown to appreciate the nature of the posts and the good taste of most of its members.

This is the reason why I'm sure you'll agree we need to save an icon of our past. Just like we could not live without vinyl, I believe we shouldn't live without Polaroid.

Are you aware there may not be Polaroid cameras in the near future?

True, digital photography is a lot more practical and convenient. But there's something about the analog nature of Polaroid instant cameras that cannot be captured with a digital medium. It's just like vinyl - there's just no way digital will ever sound like it; vinyl is simply superior.

Visit the "Save Polaroid" site and decide for yourself.

Welcome Gordon!!

Used a Polaroid back on my view camera for many years. It helped to bridge the gap between pre-visualization and the actual "positive" that would result from certain exposure settings. A great tool and beautiful as a print on its own.

I miss the "analog" days of camera film and pictures.
