Listened to "Twangin" and "Repeat When Necessary" tonight-the copies I'm listening to are US Swan Song. They sound pretty good but I'm curious has any of the Dave Edmunds catalog been remastered and what Cd has the best sound for "I HearYou Knockin"?

avoid LOVE SCULPTURE's "blues helping" recently reissued on EMI UK. another classic recording no noised to death by mr. peter mew.
their follow-up, "forms and feelings" (which contains "sabre dance"), fares better although the version i have is at least ten years old.

Aside from the Rhino two-CD anthology, I've generally steered clear of Dave Edmunds CDs. Sony Legacy was supposed to release an expanded edition of the Rockpile Seconds of Pleasure CD. Dunno if it ever came out.
The best version of "I Hear You Knockin'" I've heard is on one of the two 1991 Rhino "Rockabilly" collections.
