Wow! I'm a huge fan of the show and think it's one of the most underrated shows on the tube these days. I hope the fact that they are also now airing it on network tv that a whole new audience will come to the party. He'll be missed.

I was wondering how they might work him out of the show. Death is a pretty delicate matter, though Seinfeld took it head on when the actress that played Susan Ross died. They killed her in the show.

The USA network has been putting a little salute to him before they show reruns of Monk. Very classy thing to do, I've seen it at least 5 times, maybe more.
