Guys, thanks to all who have been emailing me on my upgrade Quest.
heres the latest:
The Paradigm Mini Mons arrived yesterday. I hooked them, up to my new Denon 1803.
Well, they arent BAD sounding but.......
Something doesnt sound right. It very well be that I am simply not used to them, but I kind of feel like the midrange just isnt there. I played some Twin Track Beatles stuff because i am extremely familar with every nuance and while it sounded GOOd, I cant say I was enthralled.
I use a pair of Tannoys in my Digital Audio studio next door. I absolutely LOVE those Tannoys, they are so tranparent its amazing.
I'm going to bring THEM in and hook them up to the Denon and see what they sound like as compred to the Paradigms.
Guys, those of you who HAVe Paradigm speakers or the Mini Mons themselves....what are you feelings about the Midrange?
