Collector's Choice Music...What's the Deal ?

Could anyone share their information on just what the Collector's Choice Music people use for their reissues ? Does it vary, release to release ?

The Faust/So Far 2fer dosen't sound as good as the Recommended Recordings "Wumme Years" Box Set versions

Collector's Choice mainly uses what the special markets divisions supply them.

Incidentally, does anyone remember the original packaging for Faust and So Far. The former was in a clear vinyl sleeve with clear vinyl album and silver label. So Far was all black with a folio of pictures.
Do you remember the special edition of Speaking in Tongues by Talking Heads - similar to above, but coloured label.... I miss vinyl. It's a size-and-resolution-of-images-on-the-album-cover thing.
