A customer booked a computer in at work a few weeks ago, her last name was bouquet..... I was so tempted (when I called her up) to address her as "Mrs Bucket".... :D

Keeping up appearances is my favourite comedy series apart from the unbeatable Monty Python's Flying Circus and Fawlty towers.

Amazing slapstick comedienne. Incredible physical humor - she does more with a swivel of the head and an eye roll than someone like Jim Carrey could ever hope for.

The Christmas episode where Richard gets drunk with Emmet is without a doubt my favorite.

Hyacinth is so perfectly realized by Patricia that I forget she's not a real person. Routledge is mesmerizing, riveting and brilliant.

I doubt I'll ever love anything more than Fawlty Towers, and Only Fools and Horses is a top favorite, but Keeping Up Appearances is right up there.

Imagine Hyacinth Bucket as a guest at Fawlty Towers.:bigeek:

I'm afraid you've just outed your standing in society, then - you simply weren't in the proper circles. It's dog eat dog in the West Midlands Social Set. :D

My favourite line of hers has got to be the one where Richard crushes his nuts falling through a cottage ceiling on to a beam:

"Well Richard, how long are you going to have to walk like that..."

She's great. I love Keeping Up Appearances. Her facial expressions alone crack me up.
