:sigh: Am I missing something? This show is painful to watch. Cowboys at a campfire shooting each others because they dont want to put on a show at a campfire? A rap song about smoking grass with dinosaurs? Maybe I'm too old to get it, but this sketch show was weak. IFC is constantly pushing it so I gave it a shot, thumbs down for me. More movies less b.s. please.

i think it's ok to say "white _____________", you just can't say anything else or it's racist. it's a double standard, but it's apparently and acceptable one.

Well, someone could do a film called the Blackest kids U know. Neither one is racist. This is a color-conscience culture. May as well forget trying to run away from it. Just have fun with it.

I have a tape called "The History Of White People In America" starring Martin Mull that was made in the early 80s. It's hilarious. But, as with any non-PC humor, there is a fine line between humor and insult. You never know who is going to be offended at what.

I remember a couple of white guys on the forum getting upset because I used the term "white boy". But, no one got upset when other forum members used it. I was in Papa Murphy's pizza shop two days ago. they had Wild Cherry's "Play That Funky Music" playing on the radio, and the white teenage girl behind the counter was grooving to the song, singing along with it while making pizzas. I somehow expected the old man next to me to get upset, but he didn't care. He was smiling. Maybe he likes the song too.

I'm gonna get this. Without seeing it, based on your synopsis, the message is that being of that world isn't what it's hyped to be. Don't emulate your heroes. just be yourself.

that's a synopsis i quoted off of imdb. i just thought it was funny. full of stereotypes all around. it's not destined to become a classic however.
