Snazzy site - maybe our fellow music lovers can chip in on my question for the Boss of the Sonic Sauce, Mr. Steve - since you now are in the driver's seat concerning what gets issued on your new label, are you gonna be tied to the DCC strategy of mainly "classic" albums, or are you gonna play a little freer with what gets put out? Fer instance, I'd kill to get the Carmen Dragon/Hollywood Bowl Symphony Orchestra Xmas album reissued in nice w-i-d-e stereo (unlike the Angel cd reissue of a few years back) - that one didn't seem to fit into the DCC strategy. Or maybe various artist comps tied to themes or eras, like a good power pop compilation (for some reason Dwight Twilley's Girls pops to mind as a great lead off track), or maybe some one or two hit wonder comps that get the sound right for once, or specific genre comps like well thought out rockabilly or garage band goodies (I'll have to insist on picking the tracks for those - I axed first!!!)

Well Mono Mike,

The deal is this: It's a new company, fronted by the Blix Street Record people (artists such as Eva Cassidy, Mary Black, etc.)

They haven't given Sam Passamano and I carte blanche to lose money just yet. We have to make some first. Ya see?

BUT I WILL SAY THIS: We will entertain any and all ideas and requests and will give each and every one serious consideration.

Let the label get established and we will see what happens.
