Anyone watching this, and if so what do you think?

I am a big time Gabriel B fan and I like a lot of what i have seen so far.

I have seen a few episodes, but I am not sold yet. I though Laura was interesting, but that was about it so far.

Anyone know how many episodes will there be? I notice the titles say week 1, week 2, etc. Seems like there are at least 5 patients.

I thought I remember reading in Entertainment Weekly that they had 43 episodes completed and ready to go. I've watched the first four episodes and like it so far. Its a little slow but I'll give it at least another week.

I watched the first ten minutes of the first episode, which consisted of Melissa George sobbing while Gabriel Byrne stared at her. While I'm sure it went somewhere more interesting from there, it didn't encourage me to keep watching, and it seems like kind of a big time commitment, even with little else on TV.

I wasn't liking this show initially, but found that after watching more episodes and adjusting to the unique pace (quiet, slow, intimate) I started to get pulled in. The slow realization that Paul is a terrible therapist was perhaps the first "pay-off." Both the concept and the execution are unusual, but I find it to be a refreshing contrast to all the (loud, overacted, arch) melodramas out there.

I can understand that In Treatment may try your patience, but I would be surprised to find I'm the only one watching...

So, anybody tuning in to the new season or catching up on the first? Anybody giving this a second chance?

I thought I'd give it a shot an just watched the first six episodes! I think it's an interesting series compared to many cop- and medical-shows that are around at the moment.

Watched all of season 1 last year. One of the best shows I've seen - sort of surprised at the lukewarm reception here, but then again, not really surprised. Wish season 2 was on DVD.

I watched the entire first season, but it was a committment to keep up with, having a new episode every night for weeks on end. It was just so-so and not really worth the time it took to get through it all, imo. So I didn't watch the second season. And now its back?

Jumped in last season and liked it very much. I'm renting season 1 now.
