It's now available for download! I got mine today, and it is a REAL improvement! It even does 5.1 mixing now!

You can just install it right over your existing version of 2.0 and it keeps your existing registration.

Likewise, thanks for the heads up.

How's the new n.r.? (Shh... I didn't ask!)

BTW, anyone have suggested buffer settings for Echo Mia cards?

Aw man! The new spectral decay value in the NR section allows me to use NR without any artifacts! Cool!

GRRRR!

I just installed this at work, and now I can no longer play MP2 files or save to MP2. I know it wasn't officially supported before, but as long as you had the necessary filters it used to work. We use MP2 at the radio station. THere *is* a reason we use MP2 and not MP3. This is not a good thing to break.

The perfect end to a perfectly frustrating week.

Could you install the old one in another directory and save in .WAV in the new one...open it in the old one and save? Also, try just changing the tag to .mp3 instead of .mp2 or .mpeg or whatever the tag is and see if it loads anyway.

You can run Cool Edit 2000, 1.2, and 2.1 on the same machine without conflict, but you cannot run 2.0 and 2.1 on the same computer.
