Scott 299D Connections

I should be receiving my Scott 299D in the very near future, and I have a few questions concerning the playback inputs. I'll hopefully be connecting my SACD player, DVD-A player and my VHS Hi-Fi player to the Scott for playback. The available line inputs are Tape In, Tuner and Extra. Does anyone have any suggestions on which line inputs I should use for each of my players, or does it even matter? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Connect the SACD to the Tuner input. The DVD-A to Extra and your VHS to the Tape In input.
