When I was staying with friends in England back in 2006, they turned me onto the comedy of Mitchell & Webb. I caught the final episode of That Mitchell & Webb Look on BBC while I was there and had to check out more of their stuff.
Since then I have gotten the following on DVD:
That Mitchell & Webb Look (Series One)
The Mitchell & Webb Situation
Peep Show (Series 1 - 3) (still have to get Series 4)
The Two Faces of Mitchell & Webb (Live)
Magicians (their 2007 feature film)
Robert Webb also plays the character Robin in the BBC series The Smoking Room. He is great in that show, too.
Anybody else a fan of their work? I'm not sure if BBC America or BBC Canada have broadcast any of these shows over here.
Cheers,
Chris

Some of our friends in the UK must be fans! Don't be "the hole in the ring"!

Hmmmm... It would appear that I am in a cult of one. :D

You're not alone. I love their stuff, although I've never really got into Peep Show.
I'd recommend the Mitchell & Webb Sound CDs as well. Some duplication with the TV stuff but well worth having.

Somehow, I missed this thread. I think they're very talented. I'd have to say Peep Show is my favourite. Possibly because it's the first thing I saw them in. Here's a great clip from the last season of Peep Show: Hunting with Sophie's father (

If you haven't heard of it, there's another series to see Robert Webb in, called The Smoking Room (
http://imdb.com/title/tt0414773/).

Another fan here. :edthumbs: Peep Show, in particular, is brilliant although am I right in thinking that it's not actually written by Mitchell and Webb, only performed by them (not that that matters of course)?

Forgot to mention that series two of "That Mitchell & Webb Look" starts on BBC2 9.00-9.30pm on Thursday 21st February. :righton:

I've wanted to say "that's number wang!" when speaking to someone at a call-centre, but I don't think I ever remembered. When I was actually working in a call centre if I did remember I suspect I thought it was inappropriate.
- So may I take your card details please?
- And the expiry date?
- That's numberwang!
- You want to speak to my supervisor?

Yeah, Peep Show is pretty brilliant. I still have to get the 4th series. I have the two series of Smoking Room and actually started a thread about it some time back. The whole cast is really good.
Cheers,
Chris
