What a terrible shame. 25 is too doggone young.

He was the young guy who worked in the convenience store...who they loved to torment.

Maybe he's happier now.

Who am I to judge?

Who am I to judge?

yes, since we don't really know what happens we can only feel sorrow..

Yeah, his role was pretty light in Ghost World. I appreciated him more for Apt Pupil and Bully.

heroin is especially a tough one. :(

I think alcohol is worse than any of them. The article says he had a drinking problem. You see it time and time again, it's funny and cute when you are young and you fall in the pool or pee on your shoes, but after a few years go by, it becomes ugly and for some people that's to late to find that out.
It’s sad indeed.

This is so sad. He was young, cute and talented. I wish he could have straightened out his life. :(
Sad, sad, sad.

Heroin and alcohol is a particularly dangerous combination due to both causing the heart rate to slow down.

I think Joplin's overdose was caused by the alcohol in her system acting with the heroin to stop her heart....this is how experienced users die, as they haven't done more H than usual, but they aren't considering the alcohol's depressive effect as well...and their body just stops.

Here's a pic of him as Josh behind the counter in Ghost World
and that hilarious "Nunchuck Guy"
