I just purchased a $90 DVD player (Toshiba SD2900),
However almost every DVD will skip in this player at some point. My Phillips DVD player will never skip. Should I return this Toshiba back immediately?
Does anyone have similar experience with Tosh DVD players?

Thanks guys

Selling you a faulty product is selling you a faulty product no matter if it's on sale or what. I'd return it personally.;)

I haven't had that experience with a dvd player, but it certainly sounds defective (unless you are playing really dirty or scratched discs). You certainly shouldn't be expected to just accept a player skipping on almost every dvd. Since you just bought it, you should be able to return or exchange it.

Well the 1 week old Toshiba just broke in the middle of Beatles Anthology DVD , I heard a few pops, now the player wont player any discs, CD or DVD. Ha!
This is the first time I bought any hardware cheap. You get what you pay for, luckely I can return it.
Thanks for the responses!
