No surprise, guess what Anchor Bay title got re-released again?! I thought: Well, how could they top the "Book of the Dead" editions for the first two "Evil Dead" films? Well...

"Evil Dead: Ultimate Edition" 3-disc set
(strictly "Evil Dead." "Evil Dead 2" not included.)

What ever happened to the "In the Woods" feature/mini-film that was supposed to be included in the 'Book of the Dead' version of "Evil Dead." ?

From what I've heard the fullscreen on this should be the uncropped one. Most of the recent fullscreen releases where more or less zoomed in.

As for In The Woods I can only assume Raimi decided to leave it out after all. That and/or some music license rights could have played a part in that decision.

Well when it comes to double dips I've given up. New doesn't necessarily mean improved. I'll go for a Blu-Ray vs. a DVD double dip (and I'm not replacing most of my DVDs--they look fine played on my Blu-ray).
