Best price for deluxe Blade Runner

Anyone know who will have the best sale price next week for the Blade Runner deluxe edition DVD that comes out next week? I am referring to the version packaged in a suitcase. The standard DVD version, not the HD or Blu-Ray.

Dvdpricesearch.com is reporting that deepdiscount.com has the best online price for the DVD Ultimate Edition at $53.99 with Amazon and BestBuy.com close behind at $54.99.

But while we're on the subject...I just ordered the 5 disc Blu-Ray set from Amazon for $27.99.

Are they making this cheaper than the regular SD version to lure customers into the HD camp?

I picked up the 4-Disc DVD set at Best Buy today, Dec. 18th for $22.99.

I also picked up a couple of copies of the 2-Disc DVD Set for $12.99 each, for Christmas Gifts!!

You mean the briefcase? There is smaller packaging available with the other versions.

I bought the Blu Disc Complete Collectors Version (5 Disc's) today At Target For $34.99. It was 27.95 on Amazon but they are out of stock. I bet Fry's will have it the cheapest. I don't think they made a lot of copies on this first run.

I got the standard version at Best Buy. As soon as I got into work at 7am I did a pre-order online for store pick-up. I did not want to be driving from store to store looking for this thing during the Christmas shopping season.

For you standard def buyers the briefcase is the only way to get the 5th disk, which is quite good.

2-DVD, 4-DVD and 5-DVD - those are the SD versions...
