Ah! Sunday Night, a bunch of HD shows (and good ones at that) running at the same time, DAMN! might need to buy a HD tape machine, DAMN $$$$$

CBS had the NCAA games from Texas in HDTV - That was awesome!! :D

Unfortunatley, no good way to tape HD w/o IEEE1394 firewire interface or computer.

Yes, but all(?) I know of need to accept HD via IEEE1394 from the TV or an outboard tuner-not many have this.

I hear the next gen cable boxes will have some connection but, who knows. It's gonna take a few years to "shake out" and by that time there should be HD DVD recorders and proper ports.
