My copy of Live Hats (http://www.amazon.com/Live-Hats-Region-Men-Without/dp/B000FCQP6Q/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1196384749&sr=8-1), the Men Without Hats live DVD, showed up in the mail today.
I must say that this was a guilty pleasure for me. My only experience with Men Without Hats was 'Safety Dance'. A friend that I did theater with in the late 90's 'schooled' me on Men Without Hats past that song. I've been a fan ever since. This DVD only drove home the point for me as to how much fun these guys were and it shows on stage. Recorded during the 'Freeways' tour on August 8, 1985, it captures what I think is one of the last great breaths of great 80's music and fun.
Here are three clips from You Tube of songs from the DVD...
Heaven (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Uugdk8scVaw)
I Know Their Name (http://youtube.com/watch?v=vg84PZ0xZXk)
Jenny Wore Black (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Jf65IlHgVnw&feature=related)
The DVD also includes the videos for Nationale 7, Safety Dance, I Like, Where Do The Boys Go?, and Pop Goes The World. It also includes a brief interview/story from around 1983.
Be aware that the Amazon link above says this is a 'Region 2' DVD. I have a DVD player that will play Region 2 and PAL DVDs but the copy that I received from Amazon today is definitely marked NTSC.
