Does anybody know which record store was featured in the movie?

The character supposedly had 5500 LPs. Besides the Who song, the movie referrenced Bruce Springsteen's THE RIVER and showed both LPs. It also showed THE PRETENDERS 1st LP.

A Jackson Browne song "The Birds Of St Marks" was played in the movie and while the main character was in the record store, you could see a Jackson Browne LP (Late for the Sky) in the background.

Not sure of the record store, although it looked like they were in the village and walked down into a basement store. Yes, the version of "Birds of St. Marks" was the more recent Solo Acoustic ,Volume One version and was on his iPod.
