Does anybody remember these made for TV animated feature movies that Peter Yarrow produced based on "Puff The Magic Dragon"? Personally, I think these features hold up extremely well not only for children but for adults as well. The first movie is the most faithful to the song, but the sequels are just as entertaining and all 3 features feature Burgess Meredith as Puff. All 3 of them are on the DVD pictured below

The 3 features in this series are:

Puff The Magic Dragon (1978)
Puff The Magic Dragon In The Land of Living Lies (1979)
Puff and The Incredible Mr. Nobody (1982)

My first DVD of it was a cheap DVD of it from a low budget company which actually looks like it was sourced from a worn VHS, but the Liberation Entertainment DVD is clear as a bell and sounds great.

My kids had the first one on VHS untill it broke. We got it from Mc Donalds.
Played it a zillion times.

Hey, that's cool! Didn't know there were three of them. I only have the first cartoon on a vhs from Children's Video Library, c1985. Is the original really only from 1978, or is that a newer copyright date? I could have sworn this was from the early '70's.

I just might do that, Brad. I can give it to my two kids,(18 and21), and
just keep it for myself.:)

That's because nobody is too old for these movies.
