It's amazing what they can get away with. Is it that animation makes it legal? Who knows... Cruise is famous for suing when his 'clean' image is brought under question.
Well, circumstances in the FG episode had wife Katie Holmes freed from a metal ankle restraint. She then hits Cruise over the head with the baby, jumps through the window to get away and frees four almost-naked men from their cage on the property. Oh golly.

I think two factors are 1) that it is an animated program and therefore cannot be interpreted as realistic in any form, and 2) it's considered satire, which has been upheld as protected speech in the Supreme Court.

Whether the depiction of him is fair or not, maybe Cruise learned from the 'South Park' epiosde last year that he cannot surpress these things and that the bad press that is generated by trying is not worth it.
