I have CoolEditPro and some other small FFT programs such as SigView, but I'm completely lost when it comes to this whole Fast Fourier Transform thing!:(

I've tried to read a ton of stuff about it online, but it's just way to complicated to understand...I need layman's terms here:)

In short, I have a few .wav files that I want to check to see what frequencies dominate the wave sound...and try to be as specific as possible while doing so..

Anyone?

THANKS:)

Run a frequency analysis on the file. When done, it will show you where the dominant frequencies are and what the amplitude is when you run the mouse over the graph.
