Please explain SD Card operations to me....

I want to buy an MP3 player that uses SD cards. I know that an SD card has memory. What I don't know is how it is loaded up. For instance, do you put a blank into the MP3 player and then download songs that way? Any info would be appreciated...

Yes, putting a blank SD card into the player would be one way. In that case, they usually show up on your computer as a removable drive. Or, if your computer has an SD slot, just slide it in there and copy files over with your favorite application.

Either way, it is just a simple copy function.
