I had heard about this guys horror movies before but never saw them and I just read that two were coming out on Blu Ray. I went to Youtube for a clip and found this:

I haven't seen a fight this beatifully cheesy since the saturday morning live action shows of the 70's!
Can anyone tell me more?
I love Paul Naschy! His real name is Jacinto Molina. I believe he was a wrestler before he became an actor/director. At any rate, he's a big brawny guy with a face that used to look uncannily like John Belushi.
The two films out now, Vengeance of the Zombies and Night of the Werewolf, aren't among his best, but they are entertaining. I think a couple more are coming out in a month or so but I'm not sure which titles. Werewolf Shadow, Hunchback of the Morgue and Horror Rises From the Tomb are among my favorites of European cheese/horror from the 70s. His take on The Mummy is hilarious too. One of his most known horror films in the US was Frankenstein's Bloody Terror from about 1969. It used to play at drive-ins all the time and I remember it being on my local Creature Double Feature. Most of his films feature over the top gore, nudity and general exploitation. If that's your thing, you'll love Paul Naschy.

I've got Werewolf's Shadow on DVD. I saw it in the theatre as a child, and picked it up for nostalgic reasons. Not a great film, but still entertaining.
