No feedback problem with the turntable so close to the speakers!

No feedback problem with the turntable so close to the speakers!Try resting the cart on top of a record --with the TT off-- and SLOWLY increasing the volume.

Can you tell me about your welded, square-tubing racks?
Wow, it's been a while since I've seen RCA speaker cabinets like those! We had a pair of those cabinets with RCA coax speakers in the master control room at WBAA, Purdue, when I used to work there. (And a forest of RCA 44BX microphones in the studios.) That old control room was gutted in the late 1990's; now WBAA sports two control rooms with digital mixers. I haven't paid them a visit since they built their new facility, but I have listened to their Internet streams; according to my information these servers are fed by S/PDIF taps from their main system.

That's one sweet setup!
Love the Mac receiver on your second system.
BTW, what happened to the Hadley amp?
Did Jim Bongiorno work his magic on it?

I still have the Hadley....I had Terry Dewick put in a regular on/off switch and an IEC for the power cord, but no Bongiorno yet,,,i kinda like how it sounds now..

wow, imagine if you kept those RCA drivers...I was very tempted to plunk 1600 ebaydollars for a pair to see what the hubbub is about...
