Waiting to get a tape that hasn't been already "remastered" for maximum screech.

Remastered for maximum screech. I like that line you just said and that's a good excuse for waiting on a Bad Company tape. Have you listened to the master tape of "Mason Williams Phonograph Record" and compared it to the WB CD?

Have you heard any other Mason Williams CDs? I realize the one he did with Chip Davis and Mannheim Steamroller has re-recordings, but I like the arrangements and the sound.
Also, Warner Brothers wouldn't let him use the original of the single "Classical Gas" but he got the rest for his 1992 release on Vanguard called, "Mason Williams- MUSIC 1968-1971". Just wondered if you had heard it and what you thought about the sound.
