Robert Parker is well-known for mastering vintage 78's of jazz on to CD (he has his own extensive collection of 78's that he occasionally lends to other reissues for source material). Apparently, he does some sort of stereo presentation of these records to give them a "live" feel to them. I'm not sure what he does to accomplish this, but he's been given a lot of praise from some collectors for his work.
I found a bunch of titles of his online, but I'm still hesistant to buy them. Has anyone listened to his work? You'd think the stereo recreation would be really bad, but like I said, I actually hear good things about them.
