I always thought her "Earthy" humor fit well with Jack Klugman. RIP.

RIP. Wherever you are, Brett, I'm sure you'll find time to parry with Charles Nelson Reilly. Thanks for some of the most classic game show moments.

I loved her on Match Game. Some of her comments on the dvd set are pretty amusing, too.

I stayed in her house in '83 for a week (my cousin's company had rented it).

A wonderful bungalow 2 or 3 blocks from Rodeo. A nice home.

I remember a picture of Charles in the den.

Thanks for sharing your space, Brett. RIP.

I was a regular viewer of The Match Game in the mid-to-late 1970s. Very sad news.

Was that the greatest game show of all time or what?

She was great. Thank you Miss Somers for the memories.

It was certainly up there.

BTW, on a side note, I glanced at the show in recent years on the Game Show Network and it has one of the sharpest pictures I've ever seen, especially from '70s TV. What was up with that?

I watch it on GSN and the quality varies a bit, but usually looks very good. I believe it was taped in CBS' Television City in LA. Great show, a campy fun snapshot of the swinging 70s. :)
