I was reading up on homasote after seeing it at HD and thought it may be a good material to make bass blockers with. My dad used it for our model train setup and it did dampen the noise.
I was also thinking of using it to dampen other frequencies too but by mounting some on a wall and covered in fabric.
Any thoughts?

I found it while googling "homasote"...since I didn't have a friggin' clue what it was.:)

No, I didn't see that - thanks.
I did use it for hanging my photos in my apartment years ago as it is better than bulletin boards and cork.
Plus it's 'organic' and uses recyclables:righton:
