Problems with Yamaha DVD player..

I recently purchased the Yamaha DVD-2500 and it's giving me problems. At regular 10 second intervals the entire picture shudders. It does this on new discs in perfect condition. Any idea what is causing this? Thanks in advance!

What I mean is the entire picture jumps and shakes every 10-15 seconds. It does this on many different discs. The player is only 2 months old..
