I won't knock the things since I've never tried 'em, but I was certainly surprised to see a picture of Mr. Hoffman "endorsing" these interesting wood sculptures:

Yeah, I played with those at CES.

Those are NICE dainty room treatments. Much better than those big round cushion things that one has to prop up all over the place to get a decent accurate bass response! They look like art.

So these are a decent alternative to bass traps? These guys would certainly take up less space, especially if you wall mount them. However, I'd be inclined to roll my own to save a grand.

Someone asked for this thread back. Here it is!

In order for these to work you need room behind your speakers. They won't do the trick if you don't have a lot of space so don't even try..
