I finally feel safe from Kevin Costner's stink bombs, Waterworld, The postman, Open range, Hollywood doesn't seem to back him up anymore. He really annoys me as an actor. Also, Ben Affleck is quietly fading away, fortunately, after seeing a couple of his movies I've had enough of him, same as Keanu Reeves, everything he touches turns into a turkey, except for The Matrix and the Devil's advocate.
Matt Damon is another one, he seems to have an "I know it all, cause I'm smarter than anyone else" attitude that annoys me. Unfortunately looks like he'll be around for a while, the other day I took my son to the bookstore, and I was browsing around when I came upon hundreds of "Bourne" books, didn't know there were so many, so I guess he has material to keep going for another 20 years, ohh well.
So who are the ones that annoy you???

Poison lad, I've got a few too. Dunno why they annoy me, but they do! :(
And trouble is that they are good artists and trasured by many: Jeremy Irons and John Malkovitch are maybe the only 2 of 2 thousand list :).

Bingo. The only Nicolas Cage performance I liked at all was in The Rock.

Ben Affleck
Mark Singer (made me root for the aliens in V)
Christian Slater (never forgave him his smarmy Jack Nicholson impersonation in Heathers)

I worked with Matt Damon. Couldn't have been a nicer guy.

Tom Cruise for me too.

He's an amazing actor. I can still watch Born On The 4th Of July, Rainman... He fits a certain charactor.

But good lord, I wish he didn't talk about anything in public.

I dislike so many. The only actor of these times that I can say I like a lot is Steven Seagal. I don't know what it is about the guy. I know he's not a wonderful actor, but I just find him totally likeable. If I were a Hollywood executive I'd hire him to do comedy. He'd shine there like you wouldn't believe.

Nicolas Cage.

Kevin Costner is a bit much, but I did enjoy "Open Range".

I must admit that I too like Steven Seagal, in particular "Fire Down Below", with it's sly tongue-in-cheek "Deliverance" allusions - plus - Marge Helgenburger is in it...although now that I think about it, lately she's become a little annoying too. Oh wait, Kris Kristofferson was in it also - forget the whole thing.

I actually liked Ben Affleck in Hollywoodland. And speaking of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, loved them in Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back. Other than that, don't really care one way or the other.

Actors or actresses that annoy ME?? For any number of petty reasons:

Sean Penn (just never struck me the right way although I liked him in The Falcon And The Snowman)

Lindsay Lohan (for obvious reasons)

Tom Cruise (who always seems to look like 'TOM CRUISE' in whatever movie he does.)

Any actor or actress that feels that we as a public need to have their opinion on any number of issues improtant to them or to 'raise awareness'. That includes wearing t-shirts that have whatever slogan they feel we need to have. Special exemption made for t-shirts that 'raise awareness' for medical issues for children. Exemption given for adult medical issues as long as the actor or actress doesn't try to blame any group of politicians or system of belief.

(Told you I was petty :D)

Any actor who grows the obligatory 'serious actor' stubble and unkempt hair for interviews where they expound on the above listed pet peeves.

Any actor or actress on said interview who feels the need to talk about 'their body of work' as if it were the most important thing to mankind. If they have to explain their 'work', it isn't really worth talking about, is it? Funny how Alan Rickman doesn't feel the need to embody his work that way.

Any actor or actress that feels the need to become a 'reporter' on any number of issues...and embarks on a 'fact finding mission'...as if someone who makes a living pretending to be other people would be taken seriously in that role.

And while I'm at it, any actor or actress who adopts a child, issue or cause for the sole reason of rescuing their floundering career or to be 'seen' of the right people to get work.

That answer your question?? I think I need a shower.
