Jeff's work is terrific. I like this as a way to show the personalities and make the discussion more real.

Surly they are going to give you several complimentary copies. If not we will all send JA a nasty gram. :D

Why does everyone get delivery on their subscription to Stereophile before me?

I'm sure I'll like Jeff's work when I (finally) see it. Congratulations Jeff!!

I couldn't help but notice who was portrayed. I'm 49; between the Sphile staff and the exhibitors I'm pretty sure I'm the youngest of the bunch. What does this say about the magazine? Or, for that matter, the high-end?

That was brought up at the Q&A with the entire staff at HE 2007 and it sparked some heated discussion.

This is a real problem for the high end manufactures. They need to be more accessible and friendly to younger customers.

Does dedicated high-end audio die with the baby boomers? I fear it may. Most young people have allied themselves with sub-redbook files on a portable. Give them more memory and they'll just use it to store more music, movies or games, not improve the MP3 or 128K AAC files.

Anyway, back the thread topic: Congrats, Jeff!

Jeff,

Got this issue today, great work! It's almost like how a photographer can impart their own perspective on subjects, but you have done an even more facsinating portrayal of these subjects with your drawings. By the way you portray their facial expressions, body language and background settings, I almost feel as if I was there!

Very enjoyable
