This is an interesting but old article on caring for LPs I thought some might find interesting:

He was one of first to recognize the potential for higher quality reproduction through narrower stylus profiles and the associated issues of keeping the stylus clean. Air pollution was a major issue over here when he wrote the article and obviously it isn't just us that absorb it, so do our discs.
I use the Parastat brush with cleaner actually on 'as new' condition discs.
