Today I noticed there was some dust on the needle of my turntable. How should I go about cleaning it off?
Simply (and gently) wipe back to front with a stylus brush (with the equipment OFF, obviously, unless you want to pick up speaker cones in your front yard), or if its really crusty, a dip in Mister Clean Magic Eraser works wonders.

I use the Magic Eraser and find that if I leave my equipment on (with the volume turned down) it helps me to have a gentle touch as I can hear what's going on.

If you use the search engine, you'll find that this has been covered many times.

Make sure to use good fluid on brush.
