Please post your desired top two DCC-CD titles you just can't locate. Also your opinion on what might be the hardest CD title to find.
Dr.
Hello Doc,
I would have to say that the hardest of the gold cds is
Roy Orbison, All Time Greatest Hits GZS-1118.
But I would have to say the absolute hardest to find is
Asia, Archives The Best Of CAS-70093-2 and
The Zombies, Greatest Hits DZS-052.
I know, I gave three but after all we are talking DCC. ;)

Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
Jethro Tull - Aqualung
[edited to change my mind...]
ok, this week I most miss:
Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
Beach Boys - Spirit of America

The Zombies cd shows up as being available as a special order at hmv.com
Also, The Zombies cd is listed for $12.98 at www.dcccompactclassics.com, (
http://www.dcccompactclassics.com,) as well as the Asia title. However, I don't know if the store is really "open".
Hey Zoo,
Been there tried that, as far as ordering from DCC. Can't remember where right now but I know I saw a sealed copy of Highway 61 Revisited somewhere within the last 2 months. Thanks for the Zombies info. I'll give hmv a try. :)

Hey Dave!
Yeah, I wish they'd take the DCC ordering down if it doesn't really work.
Anyways, there also appears to be 8 copies available of the Zombies title on half.com for really cheap ($6 range)
McCartney "Ram" and Everly Brothers "Greatest"
Unless...of course you want to do the eBay bendover...ouch!

i am having a heck of a time find a DOMESTIC copy of henry mancini's "mr. lucky goes latin" (1962, i think) CD. i've seen a japanese import at or around $30. there's also supposed to be a spanish import available for about half that price. both of these came out around summer 2000 and quickly disappeared soon after.

I think Music Direct (www.amusicdirect) has a copy of "Highway 61"....and it's VERY worth getting.

Yup, Roy Orbison (at a reasonable price!).
Everly Brothers on the way, yay!
Both Tull DCC CDs are hard to find. I previously posted a question: Are the Tull CDs going to be reissued? No response...
There is always hope, eh?
Funny, I saw Roy Orbison recently at Towers. Passed on it (another brilliant move by Gary :( since I went broke buying DCC Jazz CDs. Hmmmm wonder if its still there? Time to hop on the subway, I guess!

I know of at least one unopened Roy Orbison GRT Hits in my area left unsold.. I should be able to pick up if someone wants it--i think the sticker was 27.99 but won't guarantee it --I'll be close plus tax--e-mail if interested.

Somebody grab the Orbison. He was one of the giants!
Grab The DCC Zombies CD, too. Can't go wrong, folks!
DCC is out of stock on MANY things. Certain things will be repressed, and the DCC website will be redesigned. But for now....
it is what it is.

Try www.audiophileusa.com/DCC.HTM (
http://www.audiophileusa.com/DCC.HTM)
They seem to have a large selection of DCC CD's.

Update on www.audiophileusa.com/DCC.HTM (
http://www.audiophileusa.com/DCC.HTM)
FORGET ABOUT THEM!!! They do not update their website and they do not honor their website prices!!!
I just tried to order two DCC CD's from them and got the following response:
Beach Boy's Endless Summer--eventhough their website says $26.99, they wanted $50.00 for it--FORGET IT!!
Eagles Hotel California--They said that it is out of stock, eventhough, their website says that it is in stock.
BOO on them!

Thanks for the info Johnny - I just came across that the other day and thought "wow, they've got a lot of stuff!" Guess it's not worth it.
Still waiting on Straight Up from Music Direct... :(

Man, Steve, I gotta have the Zombies as well!
On a down beat, I just got an email stating that the seller from half.com was out of stock on The Golden Age Of Underground Radio. Oh well (hangs head).

Steve, how about one of those 5 for $100 deals. Haven't had one in quite some time, and I missed out on the last one. Hopefully DCC will re-press some of the best titles...?

I've located an Orbison disc but the price is beyond outrageous. :(
Let the trumpets play, as the pig enters memberdom.
Welcome Pig,
Just wondering if you'd read our credo yet. Here it is:
Member's have been individually picked from the population and formally inducted in to the super secret DCC society! They then are shown the secret hand shake which identifies all true "Members" and are given the official decoder ring!! The advantages of "Member" status, wheeeeew, too many to list here...we do have many connections to the Stonecutters, and for that matter, the No Homers club. Did you get one of those chairs yet Pig? What's this?! You say you haven't received your chair or decoder ring yet?!
(/wonders if you're really a member!!!! ) .....Hmmm! LOL
